Safety tip: for the week of October 19/23- Stand back away from the curb; students should stand back while waiting for the school bus to arrive. Remain there until the bus is stopped completely. The driver will open the service door to actuate the warning lights and place hand over the horn to warn students of any potential hazards. The driver will signal to students when it is safe to cross the road and board the bus. The student should check for traffic before crossing the roadway and must cross straight across the roadway, approximately ten feet in front of the bus. School bus safety is a part of Spartan Pride Community Wide.
