Drama Students Join International Thespian Society

Fifteen W.H.S. students were honored for their dedication to theatre arts as they were inducted into Troupe #4558 of the International Thespian Society on May 22. To be eligible for membership, students must have completed 100 hours of service and learning in at least two productions.

Joining the troupe were Michelle Bailey, Jessica Blair, Erin Bertolini, Calissa Dahnke, Janelle DuFresne, Faith Glover, Heather Johnson, Rachel Johnson, Spencer Jones, Ciera Philpott, Kyle Revels, Jessica Sexton, Cory Spitzer, Katie Stephens, and Kayla Theis. This is one of the largest induction classes in the troupe’s twenty-year history!

Also recognized at the ceremony were eight students who have achieved the rank of “Honor Thespian,” equivalent to 600 hours of theatre! Congratulations to Quentin Arnold, Amanda Combs, Reed Farley, Sarah Johnson, Mallorie Jones, Katie Maloney, Daniel McHenry, and Emily Stanley for their dedication!
