Principal’s Message – May 3, 2012
Congratulations to all our students and to the staff for an outstanding effort on this year’s round of OAA’s.
We appreciate everyone’s help in getting the students to school on time. Results for the assessments will be back to the school in June (electronically) and hard copies of student results will arrive in early July. Your child’s individual results will be available in the fall at Open House.
Congratulations to Mr. Cantu for being recognized as Project Excellence award recipient. He works every day to improve student achievement and prepare our students for the future. He joins several other MS staff members in being recognized for this prestigious award. Look for his picture on the front wall as you enter the MS.
Planner contest winner update. WMS students participated in a planner cover design contest. Students submitted their design and with the help of Mr. Roy Satterfield (Art student teacher) and Mr. Jesse Catanzaro students were able to go on line and complete an electronic ballot. The results have been tabulated and the contest was close. Lucas M’s design is what the students want to see on their planner for next year. Be on the lookout next fall for the design. Congratulations to all and thanks for participating.
