Power of the Pen participants

On Friday, February 26th, five Waynesville eighth graders participated in the Power of the Pen competition. Shanin Jacquay, Chris Poole, Dylan Titus, Patrick Taylor, and Caitlin McGuire each competed in a three-round, short story competition. Caitlin placed within the top 15, while she and Chris qualified for the regional tournament on Saturday, March 13th at Princeton High School. Thank you to all of our awesome eighth graders and a special congrats to Chris and Caitlin!
