2011 Project Excellence Award recipients and several business people traveled to Columbus to meet with Ohio Department of Education officials, representatives of Ohio’s National Federation of Independent Businesses and legislators.  The group talked with several ODE department directors and learned of thematic, inquiry-based, authentic learning and revised core standards. Lunch was hosted by NFIB at the Athletic Club. The afternoon was spent touring the Capital where they met with Representative Peter Beck on the House Floor and later were recognized by the Senate.
