Wayne Local School District uses The Education Connection for emergency phone communication.
Emergency phone information is automatically populated from the student data base,
however, if you wish to receive text communication, then you must follow the steps below.

  1. Easiest Method - CLICK HERE and follow instructions

OR...

  1. Go to www.wayne-local.com
  2. Click on Resources Tab
  3. Scroll down the left side of the page until you reach The Education Connection
  4. Click on Community Opt-In link
  5. Please provide the requested information
  6. *NOTE:  In addition to completing Step 5, you must also complete TEXTING OPT-IN from your phone if you want texting alerts for school delays and closures.  Phone numbers are automatically populated daily from your student's contact database (this would have been provided on student paperwork at the beginning of a year.)  However, it is important to know that if you would like texting alerts for school delays and cancellations, this is something that must be done from your computer and phone.

*** Steps 5 and 6 are required for texting to work.
