Jessica Hupe’s personal remarks:

“Growing up in Waynesville allowed me to grow up in a safe community that felt comfortable, like family. This gave me the opportunity to push myself both athletically and academically to achieve great things knowing I had great people to support me. Tim Gabbard, Steve York and Dick Miller were central in pushing me athletically to achieve; they helped me to realize not to be satisfied with being good, that you can always improve no matter what level you are at in your career!”
