6th Grade ELA - Membean - ContextClues Challenge

The 6th grade Advanced ELA students in Mrs. Dysert's class were entered into a Membean #ContextClues Challenge. Students had to select a vocabulary term from a provided list and create up to four hashtags to help define the term, while also trying to achieve an audience effect or reaction.  Each teacher can only submit up to eight submissions, so the 6th graders voted on each of the projects. Membean then chose ten winners out of thousands of submissions from students throughout the country in the 5th through 8th grade category; winners could win $50-$200 in Amazon Gift Cards.  Mrs. Dysert was very proud when notified that one of her student submissions was chosen for a $50 gift card!
