Amanda Tudela 2025 Warren County Overall Star Recipient
Wayne Local Schools had two outstanding seniors who were honored as Franklin B. Walter Scholarship recipients, Amanda Tudela and Decker Atkins. Amanda was also selected as the 2025 Warren County Overall Star Recipient—the first in WLS history to earn this distinction. On Monday, April 14, 2025, Amanda joined other star recipients from across the state to be formally recognized by the Ohio Educational Service Center Association, the Warren County ESC, and school administrators from across the state. Amanda's academic accomplishments, integrity, leadership, optimism, and commitment to her community made her a standout Franklin B. Walter Scholarship recipient.
In the fall of 2025, Amanda plans to attend the University of North Carolina where she will pursue a foundation in biological sciences to prepare for graduate studies in the medical field.
