Waynesville Elementary School

Open House

• Preschool, Kindergarten, Grades 2 and 4: Thursday, August 13, 5:00–7:00 p.m.

• Grades 1, 3 and 5: Monday, August 17, 5:00–7:00 p.m.

Orientation

• Grades 2 and 4 Orientation: Tuesday, August 18 — all day

• Grades 1, 3 and 5 Orientation: Wednesday, August 19 — all day

(Transportation will be provided on these dates.)

First Day of School

• First Day for Grades 1–5: Thursday, August 20

• First Day for Kindergarten: Friday, August 21

• First Day for Preschool: Monday, August 24

Waynesville Middle School

School Photo Day (new this year)

A summer picture opportunity is offered to help WMS students get a head start on the school year. This session is optional; there will also be a picture day during the school year for students who are unable to attend.

Monday, August 10

Grades 6–8

• Time: 8:00–11:00 a.m.

• Location: Spartan Room

Schedule and Chromebook Pick Up

WMS students will have the opportunity to pick up their schedules, walk through their class schedule, and pick up their Chromebook in the Cafeteria before the start of the school year on these dates:

• August 10 — 8:00 a.m.–11:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m.–3:00 p.m.
• August 12 — 8:00 a.m.–11:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m.–3:00 p.m.
• August 14 — 8:00 a.m.–11:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m.–3:00 p.m.

Orientation

Grade 6 and new WMS students: Monday, August 17, 7:30–9:30 a.m.

(Transportation will be provided on this day.)

First Day of School

Tuesday, August 18
