Boys Tennis Update

With some challenging weather the Boys Tennis Team got off to a two and 0 start this week. Our first match was against Bishop Fenwick. With wins by Ben Muth 2nd Singles, James Schneider 3rd Singles and 1st Doubles team of Daniel Papenak and Seth Sturgill Waynesville won 3-2. Our Tuesday match vs Beavercreek was cancelled due to weather. Our first league match vs Carlisle on Thursday, Waynesville won 5-0.

Waynesville has six seniors playing this year. 1st Singles Gehrig Habermehl, 2nd Singles Ben Muth, 3rd Singles James Schneider, 1st Doubles Daniel Papenak and Seth Sturgill and Doubles player Daniel Driscoll. Rounding out the team are Lucas Pollack, Aaron McNeeley, Mason Bone, Kevin Hutcherson, Ryan Metzler, Cooper Fravel, Casey St Pierre and Gabe Coppock. Head Coach is Gary Hardman and we welcome our new JV coach Scott Stiles.
