Candidate Announced for Gatorade Player of the Year
Samantha Erbach has been announced as a candidate for Girls Soccer Gatorade Player of the Year in Ohio. The Gatorade Player of the Year award was established in 1985 to recognize the nation’s most elite high school student-athletes for their athletic excellence, academic achievement and exemplary character. In each of the 50 states and the District of Columbia, one Gatorade State High School Player of the Year is chosen in each of the following sports: Football, Volleyball, Boys and Girls Cross Country, Boys and Girls Basketball, Boys and Girls Soccer, Softball, Baseball, and Boys and Girls Track and Field. The Gatorade Play of the year award’s final selection for Girls Soccer will be announced June 23rd by the Gatorade Selection Committee. Congratulations Sam and Good Luck!
