Jazz in the Park

Last week on Friday evening, Ms. Schleman's high school jazz ensemble performed at the amphitheater.  It was a spin on the traditional Jazz Dinner with a bring your own picnic and lawn chairs atmosphere.  The performance was energizing as the students performed for nearly an hour and a half.  There was a hawaiian luau theme as the stage and attire reflected grass skirts on the stage edging and colorful floral shirts and leis.  

It was a beautiful evening for an outdoor concert in the park, and it was evident from the crowd that they were excited to be there enjoying the music of our young student musicians.

The Middle School Jazz Concert will be held on Friday, May 14th at 6:30pm in the Amphitheater (behind the Spartan Community Field).

Bring your lawn chairs or blankets and pack a picnic dinner so you can sit back and relax to the music provided by the Steel Drum Band and Jazz Band!

The event is free and open to the public.  Donations will be accepted.
