Kathleen Matt Named Salutatorian of the WHS Class of 2026

Waynesville High School is proud to recognize Kathleen Matt as the Salutatorian of the Class of 2026.

Throughout her high school career, Kathleen has demonstrated strong academic commitment, leadership, and involvement in several school activities. She has been a member of the WHS varsity swim team, participated in club swimming, and contributed to student life through National Honor Society, Waynesville Leo Club, and Foreign Language Club.

After graduation, Kathleen plans to attend Miami University, where she will major in nursing. Her future goals reflect her dedication to learning and her commitment to serving others through a career in health care.

As Kathleen prepares for her next chapter, she carries with her a thoughtful motto: “Every exit is an entry somewhere else.” Wayne Local Schools congratulates Kathleen Matt on this outstanding achievement and her well-earned recognition as Salutatorian of the WHS Class of 2026.
