Wayne Local Schools Welcomes Ryan Fullenkamp, Director of Operations

Wayne Local Schools is proud to announce the appointment of Ryan Fullenkamp as the district’s new Director of Operations. His connection to WLS is personal—he’s the proud father of three Spartans, including a daughter who just graduated from WHS and a daughter and son who are rising sophomores. His wife, Andrea, is a teacher at Mad River Local Schools.

Mr. Fullenkamp brings a wealth of experience and a proven track record of leadership in operations, facilities management, and team coordination. With over two decades of experience at Mad River Local Schools and Wright State University, he has led high-impact projects in building operations, safety compliance, energy management, and long-term capital planning.

Mr. Fullenkamp's background includes experience in various systems, including electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and grounds maintenance. He also has specialized expertise in infrastructure enhancement.

In his role at Wayne Local Schools, Mr. Fullenkamp will oversee maintenance, custodial, food service, and transportation. He will also lead the development and implementation of operational policies and procedures to support a safe, efficient, and forward-thinking learning environment for all students and staff.
