Waynesville High School Honors Amanda Tudela, Class of 2025 Valedictorian

Amanda Tudela has been named the Valedictorian of Waynesville High School’s Class of 2025. She plans to attend the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, majoring in Biology on a pre-medical track. Known for her academic excellence, leadership, and commitment to service, Amanda has made a lasting impact on her school and community.
She served as President of the National Honor Society and as the Humanitarian Causes Chairperson for the Waynesville LEO Club. In addition to her academic achievements, Amanda is a three-sport varsity athlete in tennis, softball, and golf, serving as golf team captain for two years. She was also active in the Foreign Language Club and volunteered regularly through programs like Buddy Up Adaptive Tennis, tutoring, and local community events.
Outside of school and service commitments, Amanda enjoys traveling, reading, spending time with family and friends, and staying active. Amanda is the daughter of Mark and Jenna Tudela and lives by the motto, “The price of success is hard work.”
