WLS Introduces My Ride K-12 Transportation App

Wayne Local Schools has introduced My Ride K-12, a new transportation app that will allow families to access their student’s bus information, pickup and drop-off times, and receive future notifications about route changes, delays, and adjustments to pickup or arrival times.
If you are the parent or guardian of a bus rider, you will need to download this app to stay informed about your child’s transportation to and from school. Beginning the 2026-27 school year, all transportation communication will come through My Ride K-12.
Helpful Tip: Keep the app updated and turn on notifications for My Ride K-12. You will only receive messages when changes occur.
How to Access the My Ride K-12 Mobile Application
Download and Set Up the App

Download My Ride K-12 from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.

Open the app and search for Wayne Local Schools when prompted to select your school district.

Select the district and proceed to the login page. New users should select Register. Existing users do not need to register.

Enter your email address, a password, and name.

Check your email for a confirmation message and select the link to complete your registration.

Return to the app and log in.

Select My Students, then tap the + button to add your student.

Enter the requested student information. (You can locate your child’s student ID number in FinalForms.) Repeat this step for each additional student.

Select your student’s profile to view available transportation information for the 2026-27 school year.

Can’t Access My Student’s Bus Route
If you cannot access bus route information under your student’s name and your child needs transportation services, please email transportation@waynelocal.net with your child’s name and home address. Email contact is preferred, so each issue can be carefully tracked and resolved.
Share Access with Another Caregiver
When you are on the My Students page, select the “Select Actions” drop-down in the top-right corner. Select the Share button and enter the person’s email address. The recipient will receive an email invitation and must register for My Ride K-12 before accessing the student’s information. You can add up to five people and may delete sharing with them at any time.
