Madeline Kolaczkowski Named WHS Class of 2026 Valedictorian
Waynesville High School celebrates Madeline Kolaczkowski for earning the distinction of Valedictorian for the Class of 2026.
During her time at WHS, Madeline has demonstrated exceptional academic commitment, leadership, and involvement across academics, athletics, service, and student activities. She participated in basketball, tennis, volleyball, marching band, and pep band. She also served through the Student Council, the Athletic Council, the National Honor Society as chapter treasurer, the Leo Club as recording secretary, and as a Connect Leader.
Following commencement, Madeline plans to attend The Ohio State University on a pre-med track, where she will major in neuroscience and minor in American Sign Language. Her future plans reflect her strong work ethic, curiosity, and commitment to learning and serving others.
Her favorite advice to live by is to keep being a student, recognizing that every person and experience can offer an opportunity to learn.
