WHS Class of 2026 Celebrates Graduation, Next Steps

Waynesville High School celebrated the Class of 2026 on Sunday, May 17, 2026, at 2 p.m. as 123 seniors crossed the graduation stage and stepped into their next exciting chapter.

The Class of 2026 is headed in many impressive directions. Eighty students are continuing their education after graduation. Of those college-bound seniors, 66 will attend four-year colleges, while 14 will pursue trade school or two-year community college programs.

Two members of the class are entering the military, and 43 students are moving directly into full-time employment. In addition, two students earned associate degrees, and 62 seniors earned an Honors Diploma, representing half of the graduating class.
