2025-2026 Informational Meeting and Q & A Session

NOTE: Mandatory Meeting for all parents and students (new or continuing) who are interested in participating in the CCP program for the 2025-2026 year.
* NEW ODE UPDATED and MANDATED forms will be available at the meeting and the counseling session information will be covered as well. Both forms MUST be signed and turned into the High School office to participate in College Credit Plus.
- CCP Intent to Participate - - Due Date April 1, 2025
- CCP Counseling Session Form for Participation
- Please do not sign and turn in the counseling session form until you feel you have reviewed all the material on the powerpoint and understand the commitment as well as consequences of participating in the CCP Program.
- ALL WHS STUDENTS need to complete these two forms ANNUALLY.
(This includes students already in the program from years prior).

Additional notes for College Credit Plus students-
- If you have students who are continuing at Sinclair as CCP students, they will NOT need to reapply.
- March - April - The College Application process should be in process.
- April- May - Students should be registered for CCP courses for the 2025-2026 school year.
- Each college has different deadlines, so please do your research and know your deadlines for the college you want to pursue.

Ohio Transfer 36 Courses and Course Eligibility - SCC Courses that will transfer to a 4-year institute.
With Summer & Fall Semester registration coming up quickly for colleges, as well as planning for their next upcoming high school year, please don’t hesitate to reach out to Mrs. Abby Shinkle ashinkle@waynelocal.net for more information.
WHS students will also have access to Sarah Humphrey, a valuable Sinclair Community College Transition Advisor that will work with Waynesville students directly. Her role is to help CCP and Tech Prep students align early college credit to all college/career goals and provide services to ensure a clear transition after high school. Information such as:
- Registering for CCP courses
- Understanding how CCP or Tech Prep credits fulfills the requirements of a college credential
- Declaring a major and building a My Academic Plan (MAP)
- Financial Aid & Scholarship questions
- Transition from high school to college
- Career Planning
- Completing Sinclair Degree & Certification Programs
- Transferring completed credits to a different college
- Enrolling at Sinclair after high school
