Superintendent's Message

Greetings Wayne Local Schools Community!

It is with great enthusiasm that I welcome you to the 2023-2024 school year!
My name is Sam Ison, and it is an honor to continue serving as

This year, our district will be focusing on the 3 C's:  Climate/Culture,
Curriculum, and Community.  By improving our school climate and culture,
enhancing our curriculum, and strengthening our community ties, we strive to
provide the best possible education for every student.

I am consistently impressed by the dedication of our staff, the involvement of
our families, and the resilience of our students. Together, we will nurture a
safe, inclusive climate where students can learn, grow, and feel supported.
Our talented teachers have prepared engaging curriculums covering diverse
subjects and life skills.  And by partnering with families and our Wayne
Township community, we can offer real-world learning opportunities.

Our mission is to equip all students with the abilities to succeed in any path
they pursue after graduation.  This year's focus on Climate/Culture,
Curriculum, and Community will help us provide the well-rounded education
that each child deserves.

This year, we remain committed to fostering a safe, supportive, and engaging
learning environment.  Our talented teachers have prepared inspiring lesson
plans, and our facilities staff has been working hard to enhance our buildings
and grounds.  There are more extra-curricular and club activities than ever for
students to explore their passions.

I am proud to be a part of this community and lead this outstanding school
district.  I eagerly anticipate the year ahead and look forward to seeing you at
school events.  Let's make it a great year!

Go Spartans!

Sam Ison, Superintendent
