12th Grade Vaccination Requirements

Beginning with the start of the 2021/2022 school year, all pupils entering the 12th grade are required to be vaccinated against meningococcal. A second (2nd) dose of meningococcal vaccine is required prior to entry into the 12th grade. The second (2nd) dose must be administered on or after the 16th birthday with at least eight (8) weeks between the first and second dose. If the first dose of meningococcal vaccine was administered after the 16th birthday, a second dose is not required. If a student entering 12th grade is 15 years of age or younger, only one dose is required.  

Please have the student drop off a copy of the immunization report to the office no later than October 1 to avoid being excluded from school and extra-curricular activities. Waivers are available for those who choose not to receive the vaccination.
