Boys Varsity Golf Team traveled to Reid Park Golf Course

Update:  9-22-2017:  Boys Varsity Golf Earns the Title of SWBL Champions The Boys Varsity Golf Team hosted the Greyhounds from Dixie at Majestic Springs on Monday.  The Spartans scored their season-low as a team, beating Dixie 167-221.  Waynesville was led by Drake Stiles (38), Jackson Beachler (43), and Matthew Warren (43).  This win concluded regular season play for the team, ending with a SWBL record of 5-1 and a share of first place. The team then traveled to Beechwood GC on Thursday to face the entire league in the SWBL Tournament.  With a share of first place, the Spartans came together to score an impressive team score of 345, outscoring all opponents in the Buckeye Division and earning the outright title of SWBL Champions.  Matthew Warren (84) and Jackson Beachler (85) led the team in scoring.  Spartan golfers also earned many individual awards.  Drake Stiles and Sam Warren earned First Team All-SWBL while Matthew Warren, Jackson Beachler, Bryce Cumbow, and Joe Hobbs earned Second Team All-SWBL. Congratulations to the new SWBL Champs! The JV Team wrapped up their season as they traveled to Belwood Country Club on Monday to face Little Miami.  Despite solid scores from team leaders Hunter Clements and Bryce Daniel, the Spartans fell to the Panthers.  Great job this season, JV golfers!

Update:  9-29-2017:   The Boys Varsity Golf Team traveled to Reid Park Golf Course on Tuesday to compete in the Sectional Tournament.  Bryce Cumbow led the team in scoring with an 89, followed by Matthew Warren with a 94.  Waynesville finished the season with a team score of 385 and 9th place out of the 15 teams.  Congratulations on a successful season and SWBL title!
