Canned Food Drive 2020

In coordination with the American Legion Auxiliary Unit Post 615, the Canned Food Drive will be held a little earlier this year, to supply the Christmas Boxes and also to support our local food bank and area residents in need through the holiday season.  

The dates for this years food drive will be November 9th-20th.

Please begin purchasing a little extra here and there to really bulk up your donations.  Each building (WES, WMS, WHS) will be running slightly different incentive challenges but the results will all be the same.

Lots of great ideas to choose from... meal kits, pastas and sauces, canned veggies (green beans, corn, carrots, etc), fruits, heat and eat easy meals, pastas and sauces, cereals, peanut butter and jelly, canned meat, soups, and on and on!  All food donations should be non-perishable.  Watch for details on the specifics of your building contests. 

*Note:  Flour, sugar, and canned/powdered milks were removed as they are not something that keeps well on the shelves of the food pantry. 

**Note:  Items in bold are more heavily used.
