Colin Amato lead the team with a 3rd place finish out of 371 runners in 16:54 followed closely by Kaden Harvey in 11th with a time of 17:14. Trevor Camp had a PR on the day with a time of 17:27 in 12th place. Following Trevor and rounding out our top 5 was Stefan Muterspaw in 42nd (18:32) and Jackson Berger in 67th (19:12). Rounding out the men's race were Scott Coppock (124th), AJ Siedenschmidt (128th), Cian McGuire, Gavin Price, Joey Phillips, and Gabe Coppock. The HS women's team was next to compete in the DI-II race placing 7th out of 22 teams. No rides will be necessary this week as we will practice in the area around the school and athletes can be picked up in the parking lot near the tennis courts or at the school by 5-5:15. Thank you both very much for hosting! This weeks meet will be at Lebanon High School 1916 Drake Rd. This will be a much smaller meet with only 15 teams competing here last year but they are mostly DI programs such as St. Xavier, Moeller, Sycamore, Fairfield and Springboro. So even though it's a smaller meet the competition will be stout! The race will be right around the school. We will once again meet at school at 6:15 and leave by 6:30. Race times this week will be as follows; HS girls will run at 8:00, HS boys varsity race (top 10 from last weeks race) at 8:40, HS boys open race at 9:20, girls JH at 10:00 and JH boys at 10:30. There will be no food stop and we should be home by noon at the latest. This will give everyone a chance to have a nice holiday weekend with friends and family. We will have no formal practice on Monday but I expect all runners to go out and run an easy 45 min. run on their own on Monday. Thanks for all the support on Saturday! The athletes appreciate the support as well from all their friends and family. See everyone Saturday!
