R+L Carriers: Hometown Showcase for Community Contribution and Family-Friendly Tailgate Fun!

We are proud to announce the kickoff of an exciting opportunity to support further achievement in our community. R+L Carriers: Hometown Showcase will provide scholarship opportunities to our local students and showcase a multitude of career paths which exist within the transportation, shipping and logistics industry. “As a company founded 50 years ago in small town Wilmington, Ohio, we are thankful to all of the communities, both big and small, that have helped us grow. We would like to show our gratitude by giving back and investing in the success of your hometown, starting with your local high school!” said Greg Bronner, VP of Business Critical Solutions. “We will provide a Waynesville High School student with a $1000.00 college scholarship opportunity as well as a Hometown Showcase Award of Achievement. We will discuss potential career paths within our industry, offer support to your local booster clubs, and of course, offer Hometown Showcase fun!”
On August 24, 2018 during the day, R&L will be visiting Waynesville High School to present career information to students about Commercial Transportation and Logistics and all the different types of career opportunities available. Students will also be touring the R&L hauler simulator. As a follow-up R&L Carriers will set-up and participate in pre-game activities and tailgate fun for the WHS Friday night home football game that evening at 5:00pm. Look for the Tour Hauler behind the home bleachers with fun activities such as corn hole, QB Challenge, Music, and satellite TV for fans. Win prizes, learn about R&L opportunities, and find out which WHS student wins the Hometown Showcase Award of Achievement!
