Social Media Safety - Keeping Kids Safe

In addition to a variety of parent meetings and conferences, there is an opportunity to learn more about social media safety and keeping your students safe.  Wayne Local Schools welcomes Rachel Miller, Prevention Specialist for TCN Behavioral Health Services, Inc. who will be presenting "Social Media Safety - How to Keep Your Kids Safe Online."

The presentation will include the risks and benefits of social media use, how social media use can impact mental health symptoms, popular apps for youth, cyberbullying, sexting, and what steps parents can take to protect their children.

This presentation will run hourly in the Spartan Room for your convenience.

February 21st (also grades 6-12 conference night 4-7pm, and AP Parent Information Meeting 6pm)4:00, 5:00, 6:00
