Spartan Community Field Gets a New Scoreboard

Update:  8/20/2019 As many of you will and may have already noticed, we have a new scoreboard at Spartan Community Field. With the help of the Waynesville Athletic Boosters and Wayne Local School District, we are now equipped with the latest in scoreboard technology including a video board! With the installation of the new scoreboard comes some changes to the old look. The Sponsorship Board identifying those who contributed to the purchasing of the turf will be moving to the southwest wall of the football locker room. As an additional thank you to these sponsors for their continuing support of Spartan Athletics, we will be periodically showcasing their names on the new video board during our events. Posted:  Week of August 5 We are excited to announce that there is a new scoreboard at Spartan Community Field which was purchased from Industrial Electronic, Inc.  Waynesville Athletics Boosters partnered with the school district for the new scoreboard.  It will be equipped with LED lighting that will be much easier to see throughout all times of the day as well as being more energy efficient. The scoreboard is also equipped with a 6’ x 10’ video board that will be used to provide announcements and other information during games and events. Advertisements will be place around the board once they are printed.  We are excited and thankful to all of our sponsors and the Waynesville Athletic Boosters for their continued support!
