SWBL CHAMPS for the 5th consecutive time!!!

The Waynesville Spartan Varsity Baseball team won its 5th straight Southwestern Buckeye League Championship with an 11-9 victory over Carlisle on Wednesday night. The Bats jumped out to a 10-2 lead after two innings and held on for the victory thanks to pitching performances from starter Mason Callahan and relievers Gavin Linkous and Jake Oakes. The Spartans move to 16-4 on the season and with a win at Northridge Thursday (5/4), would capture the SWBL title outright.
