Valedictorian and Salutatorians on WHIO-Channel 7

 Waynesville High School is proud to announce the Valedictorian and Salutatorians for the Class of 2019    

Macy Burchfield, Valedictorian

Macy is planning to attend the University of Tennessee to study Mathematics and Secondary Education with a goal of becoming a high school math teacher.  Macy is a member of the National Honor Society, Supportive Peers Program, Writing Center Tutor Program, and a Student Connect Leader Program.  Outside of school, she is a member of the cheerleading team, and has helped mentor peewee cheerleaders.  Macy also works as a math tutor and elementary classroom aide.  Macy is the daughter of Tammy and Glen Burchfield.

Anna Miller, Salutatorian

Anna is planning to attend the University of Cincinnati to study within their Nursing Preparation Program.  After achieving her Bachelor of Science in Nursing, Anna wishes to further her degree with a Master of Science in Nursing with the goal of becoming a Nurse Practitioner with a specialization in Pediatrics.  Anna serves as a Senior Class Vice-President of the class of 2019, is a member of the National Honor Society and Student Council.  Outside of school, she has been a 4-year Varsity soccer player and captain for senior year.  Anna is the daughter of Eric and Kelly Miller.

Taylor Eitel, Salutatorian

Taylor is graduating high school, also completing an Associate of Arts Degree from Sinclair Community College in Creative Writing through the College Credit Plus Program.  Taylor will continue to attend Wright State University to achieve her Bachelor of Science in Nursing.  Her goal is to become a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner, with a focus on helping people to the best of her ability, and to share her knowledge and experiences with the world around her to make it a better place.  Taylor is the daughter of John and Cinda Eitel.
