VLA Students Returning to In-Person Instruction for Second Semester:

HIGH SCHOOL:  Please check your email from Mrs. Sarah Snyder regarding your student schedules and google classroom codes.  The first day for second semester will be Tuesday, January 5th via remote learning through January 8th.  Face to face instruction will resume on Monday, January 11th at Waynesville High School.

MIDDLE SCHOOL:   We will be having an Orientation Day on December 22, 2020 from 7:30 am to 9:20 am just for VLA students that are returning to in-person instruction for second semester.  Transportation will be provided for orientation.  An email from the middle school office will be sent to parents of VLA students with detailed information.   The first day for second semester will be Tuesday, January 5th via remote learning through January 8th.  Face to face instruction will resume on Monday, January 11th at Waynesville Middle School.

ELEMENTARY:  Orientation for VLA students that are returning to in-person instruction and students new to the district will be Friday, January 8th as follows:   

            AM K and AM 1st Grade:       8:45 am - 10:37 am

            PM K and PM 1st Grade:       11:45 am - 1:37 pm

            Grades 2 - Grades 5               8:45 am - 10:37 am

Teachers will be contacting students before break to introduce themselves and provide students with important Google Classroom codes. Students may enter their new remote classroom starting January 5, 2021,  prior to the orientation. During orientation students will get to know their teacher, learn the routine, and receive assistance on using technology to be successful.  Transportation for orientation will be provided. In-person learning for the second semester  is expected to resume on January 11, 2021.
