Waynesville's Athletics Signing Day
On Wednesday, May 15th, the entire 6th-12th grade student body attended an assembly honoring seven seniors who plan to further their academic and athletic careers at the collegiate level. Those students honored were:
- Grant Johnson signed to attend Defiance College and play basketball.
- Anthony Carmichael signed to attend Wittenberg University and play football.
- Riley Blankenship signed to attend Wittenberg University and play football.
- Joey Parada signed to attend Wilmington College and become a member of the equestrian team.
- Kenna Harvey signed to attend Grace College and play volleyball.
- Cheyenne Smith signed to attend Wilmington College and play soccer.
- Kyle Rodriguez signed to attend The Ohio State University and cheer.
The 2019 graduating class has a total of 11 students committed to participate in athletics at the collegiate level. Other members include Cameron Anderson, Rachael Murray, Marcella Sizer, and Brady Stone.
