WHIO-TV Best of the Class

A message from WHIO-TV regarding The Best of the Class ....

As you all know, the Ohio Lottery has partnered with WHIO-TV for many years to feature the outstanding accomplishments of the Valedictorians and Salutatorians from our local area high schools. Due to the pandemic, the Ohio Lottery had to make the difficult decision not to shoot the individual commercials featuring these students as we have always done in the past. Instead of these student specific spots, they have produced a commercial featuring Governor Mike DeWine offering a congratulatory message to all graduating seniors. This new spot will run on WHIO-TV Channel 7 from June 1 through June 28 between the hours of 5am and 12midnight.

We realize this may be a disappointment to many as so many look forward to seeing their student(s) featured on TV each year. We look forward to next year when we can once again help you celebrate the Best of the Class of the Miami Valley.
