Wayne Local Schools has once again earned a 5-star rating on the Ohio School Report Card, continuing a tradition of excellence that began in the 2021–22 school year. This year, Wayne Local Schools is one of only 47 districts across Ohio - out of 607 statewide - to receive an overall 5-star rating. The district earned:
- 5 stars in Achievement, Gap Closing, and Graduation
- 4 stars in Progress, Early Literacy, and College, Career, Workforce, and Military Readiness
Superintendent Sam Ison said, “Earning 5 stars for four consecutive years is a significant accomplishment. It reflects the hard work of our teachers and staff, the support of our families and community, and the dedication of our students. Together, we continue to uphold the high standards that make Wayne Local Schools a leader in education.”
