Six members of Waynesville High School’s Class of 2025 have been named recipients of this year’s Ohio Sauerkraut Festival Scholarship Awards, recognizing academic achievement, leadership, and community involvement.

The scholarships are made possible through the generosity of festival sponsors, Chamber members, local businesses, and community donors.

Jane Jones Memorial Scholarship – $1,250
Awarded to Ali Schuette
Now in its third year, this family scholarship was created in memory of Jane Jones, who loved the Sauerkraut Festival. The award goes to a student who shares that same passion for the festival.

Ohio Sauerkraut Festival Scholarships – $1,500 each
Awarded to Bella Bradley, Evelyn Malcolm, and Grace Royalty

Awarded to Shree Patel in honor of Albert “Capp” Stubbs, founder of the Ohio Sauerkraut Festival

Wayne Local Schools commends these exceptional students and extends appreciation to all who continue to support this long-standing community tradition and the next generation of leaders.
